When you spend your life putting pressure on yourself to go from start to finish without appreciating and learning along the way, you are doing yourself an injustice. If you can stop and appreciate everything in the middle maybe your journey would not be as stressful.

Connecting with My Cohort
I am unaware of how the cohorts are developed. However, I do know that I have one of the best cohorts in the program. In the beginning, we promised to try and stick it out until the end. Our promise was broken and we lost four of our fellos "Chicago Dawgs." Nonetheless, we are strong, connected, and remaining connected through the remainder of this program and into the future. Below, we are celebrating the birth of one of our member's son. The bab shower was arranged by cohort members for a fellow cohort member.

I was unaware of how much work this year would bring. With the mounds of work came stress. In order to relieve my stress, my FIRST outlet is God and my church. Every week takes me through a rollercoaster of emotions. Nonetheless, being connected to the ultimate source of my survival has helped me through every challenge I have faced. Second, at the beginning of the program, I became connected to the most amazing group of individuals. We have laughed, cried, yelled, and vented togehter. I cannot imagine this program without them.
